Dupain, born in Ashfield in 1911 and died in Castlecrag in 1992, is best known for his iconic 1938 image "The Sunbaker" 1. Among the works on display are pieces less familiar to the public, such as "Meat Queue," which documents women queuing to purchase meat during post-war rationing 1. In reflecting on his body of work, Dupain stated: "There's nothing world-shattering in any of these shots. They are just a simple and largely emotional response." 1
