「武統」很近？ 海基會：中共是始作俑者

海協會副會長孫亞夫在武漢表示，「武統台灣近了」的說法某種程度上是被美國人和台獨勢力煽動出來的1，強調中共對台方針仍為「和平統一、一國兩制」，不放棄使用武力是一貫立場1。

台灣海基會副秘書長黎寶文隨後回應，中共是武統威脅的始作俑者1，未放棄透過軍事力量解決台海分歧1，企圖通過武力威脅改變台海現狀1。黎寶文指出，台灣主流民意為維持現狀，對「一國兩制」的支持度甚低1，並敦促北京立即停止武力威脅、灰色地帶侵擾，恢復兩岸兩會對話1。

Sun Ya-fa, vice chairman of the Chinese Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait (ARATS), stated in Wuhan that talk of military unification drawing near has been artificially stoked, and reaffirmed that Beijing's consistent policy toward Taiwan remains "peaceful reunification under the framework of one country, two systems" 1. He emphasized that Beijing's refusal to renounce the use of force represents a longstanding position 1. Sun further attributed such rhetoric to influence from the United States and pro-independence forces 1.

In response, Lai Pao-wen, deputy secretary-general of Taiwan's SEF, characterized Beijing as the originator of military unification threats, contending that the mainland has not abandoned using military force to resolve cross-strait differences 1. Lai noted that mainstream Taiwanese public opinion favors maintaining the status quo, with extremely low support for the "one country, two systems" framework 1. The SEF official called on Beijing to immediately halt military threats, cease gray-zone incursions, and resume dialogue between the two sides' representative organizations 1.
