重庆市原副市长江敦涛被公诉

重庆市原副市长江敦涛因涉嫌受贿罪被最高人民检察院批捕1。四川省乐山市人民检察院已对其案件进行审查起诉，并向乐山市中级人民法院提起公诉，指控江敦涛利用多个职位便利为他人谋取利益、非法收受巨额财物1。

江敦涛曾历任共青团青岛市委常委、组织部部长，青岛市城阳区委常委、副区长，青岛市委组织部副部长，青岛市崂山区区长、崂山区委书记，淄博市委书记，潍坊市委书记，重庆市政府党组成员、副市长等职务1。其中，在2019年至2022年担任淄博市委书记期间，存在违规引入私营企业进行金融招商造成巨额国有资金损失风险、强推多个项目建设导致新增巨额地方债务等问题1。江敦涛已于今年4月被开除党籍和公职1。

Jiang Duntao, the former vice mayor of Chongqing, has been formally prosecuted on suspicion of bribery.1 The Supreme People's Procuratorate made the arrest decision based on allegations that Jiang illegally accepted enormous amounts of property by leveraging multiple positions of authority to secure benefits for others.1 The Leshan Municipal People's Procuratorate, which conducted the investigation and review, filed the public prosecution against Jiang in the Leshan Intermediate People's Court.1

Jiang held a series of senior positions throughout his career, including standing committee member and organization minister of the Communist Youth League Qingdao Municipal Committee, standing committee member and vice district chief of Qingdao's Chengyang District, deputy minister of Qingdao Municipal Committee's Organization Department, district chief and party committee secretary of Qingdao's Laoshan District, and party committee secretaries of Zibo and Weifang before his appointment as a member of the Chongqing Municipal Government Party Group and vice mayor.1 During his tenure as Zibo Party Committee secretary from 2019 to 2022, Jiang engaged in irregular financial recruitment practices by introducing private enterprises, which created significant risks of state-owned asset losses, and promoted multiple infrastructure projects that resulted in substantial increases in local government debt.1 He was expelled from the Communist Party and removed from public office in April of this year.1
