2026年8月5日，娄底市中级人民法院做出一审判决1。被告人戴某乔因抢劫罪被判处死刑缓期二年执行，剥夺政治权利终身，没收个人全部财产1；被告人何某虎因抢劫罪被判处无期徒刑，剥夺政治权利终身，没收个人全部财产1。两被告人共同赔偿被害人家属经济损失5万余元，共同退赔摩托车价值5320元1。
被害人女儿李君表示："我们的诉求始终是请求法院判处两名被告人死刑立即执行"1。被害人家族已提交抗诉申请，要求判处两被告人死刑立即执行1。
A brutal robbery and murder case from 1994 has finally reached a courtroom verdict more than three decades later. On April 15, 1994, Li Mouping, a 27-year-old motorcycle taxi driver in Loudi, Hunan Province, was killed by three assailants during a robbery.1 The suspects evaded capture for 30 years until March 2024, when they were arrested one by one.1 One of the perpetrators, Zheng Mouping, had voluntarily surrendered on July 13, 2019, but died in a fall on June 5, 2024.1
On August 5, 2026, the Loudi Intermediate People's Court issued its first-instance verdict.1 Dai Moujiao was convicted of robbery and sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve, permanent deprivation of political rights, and confiscation of all personal property.1 He Mouxing received a sentence of life imprisonment, also with permanent deprivation of political rights and confiscation of all personal property.1 Both defendants were ordered to jointly compensate the victim's family with over 50,000 yuan in economic losses and to jointly return a motorcycle valued at 5,320 yuan.1 According to forensic examination, Li Mouping died from severe skull and brain injuries caused by repeated blows to the head, with over 80 stab wounds across his body and head.1
The victim's daughter, Li Jun, has filed a protest application and stated: "Our consistent demand is that the court sentence both defendants to death with immediate execution."1
