In response to these findings, the Department of Education announced it would withhold the club's grant funding for the current year until all audit findings are rectified, with an initial warning issued in February.1 Macarthur Bulls countered by claiming it had already delivered programs across more than 130 schools and organized 380 free holiday clinics.1
