Queensland Premier David Crisafulli unveiled the masterplan for an Olympic stadium at Victoria Park on Sunday morning, featuring renderings that detail how the venue will integrate with the broader landscape 1. The new stadium will be positioned in the center of the park, with existing cricket training facilities to be replaced by an artificial lake 1. Over two-thirds of the park will remain designated as public green space 1.

The development includes significant connectivity improvements, with a large pedestrian bridge linking the stadium to both Spring Hill and the National Aquatic Centre 1. A new public outdoor amphitheater will also be constructed as part of the project 1.
