In Guangdong Province's physics category, the highest-scoring admitted student achieved 610 points, exceeding the provincial control threshold by 71 points.[1] Among all admitted students, 985 scored at least 40 points above the control line, and five scored 600 or above.[1] Within Guangdong's mid-sized and larger universities, the program ranked eighth in physics-stream admissions.[1] Party Secretary Xu Jianliang presented acceptance letters to the freshman representatives during the event.[1]
