WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus conducted an official visit to Jordan to recognize the country's substantial efforts in health system delivery, emergency relief, and mental health advancement [1]. During the visit, Tedros met with King Abdullah II and emphasized the organization's appreciation for Jordan's commitment to universal health coverage [1]. A central focus of the visit was acknowledging Jordan's role in providing healthcare services to more than three million refugees housed in the country, primarily from Gaza and Syria [1]. The delegation also convened high-level meetings with multiple stakeholders, including Prince Harry and other partners, to discuss financing priorities for strengthening Jordan's health system and advancing regional humanitarian medical action [1].
