A UK High Court judge has dismissed a legal challenge seeking to block a clinical trial involving puberty blockers for young people.1 Judge Chamberlain rejected an application for judicial review, allowing researchers at King's College London to proceed with the study.1 The trial, known as Pathways, is scheduled to begin recruiting participants on August 1st and aims to enroll more than 220 children aged 11 to 16.1

Keira Bell, a former user of puberty blockers who later discontinued them, expressed disappointment with the court's ruling, stating: "the court's refusal to allow this challenge to proceed is a tragedy."1
