Jurors in the trial of Lindsay Clancy visited the residence in Duxbury, Massachusetts, on Friday where she killed her three children in January 2023.[1] The approximately 40-minute site visit included the basement where the deaths occurred, providing the jury with a firsthand view of the location central to the case.[1]
Clancy, a former obstetric nurse, is accused of intentionally strangling her children—Cora, age 5; Dawson, age 3; and Callan, 8 months old—with the prosecution alleging she sought to drive her husband from the home.[1] Her defense contends she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time of the killings.[1] Should she be convicted, Clancy faces the possibility of life imprisonment without parole.[1] She is currently paralyzed below the waist.[1]
