The Alpine Club of Pakistan is coordinating with authorities to mount a rescue operation, with efforts focused on organizing a helicopter rescue for Friday morning Pakistan time, pending weather conditions.1 According to Karrar Haidri, vice-chair of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, "We are coordinating with the authorities and trying to arrange a helicopter rescue on Friday morning Pakistani time depending on weather condition."1 The climbing team lost contact following the avalanche, prompting immediate mobilization of rescue resources by Pakistani authorities and the club.2
