Microsoft is moving forward with a significant modernization effort to rebuild Windows 11's user interface using the WinUI 3 framework, according to an announcement by March Rogers, Microsoft's design collaboration director.[1] The file properties dialog has become the first component to undergo this transformation, featuring a complete redesign based on WinUI 3 rather than simply applying visual theme changes to legacy Win32 code.[1]
