McLaren Minerals has released the second batch of drilling results from its 2026 exploration campaign at the Eucla Basin titanium project in Western Australia, with 68 boreholes yielding an average heavy mineral (HM) content of 3.76% over a mean thickness of 21 metres [1]. All 68 boreholes averaged at least 2% HM, with 87% of the holes achieving 3% or higher grades, while 35% of the holes—24 boreholes in total—surpassed 4% HM [1]. The company completed all 663 planned boreholes within its 2026 drilling programme [1].
The results demonstrate consistent mineralisation across the deposit, supporting updated resource estimation and feasibility studies. A single borehole returned the highest grade of 5.95% HM over 12 metres, and 85% of the 68 boreholes achieved sampling intervals of at least 18 metres [1]. The project currently holds a JORC-compliant resource of 529 million tonnes grading 4.5% HM, containing approximately 23.7 million tonnes of titanium minerals [1]. McLaren Minerals General Manager Simon Finnis stated: "We continue to intersect wide mineralised intervals from surface with repeatable grades and thickness" [1].
