Luke Gosling, a 54-year-old Federal Labor MP representing the Solomon electorate, has been arrested over allegations that he assaulted David Connolly, the Northern Territory Administrator, at a public event on July 18, 2024.[1][3] Northern Territory Police made the arrest early Thursday morning, with Gosling remaining in custody and not yet formally charged.[1][3] The incident allegedly occurred at a Thai cultural gathering held at Connolly's residence.[3]
