Blue Surge, an ocean technology consumer products company, has completed an angel-plus funding round worth tens of millions of renminbi, with investors including Hillhouse Capital Venture, Qiming Venture Partners, and Yunmu Capital, bringing its total funding to over 50 million renminbi.[1] The company, founded in 2024, is developing an electric-assist fishing reel designed for recreational saltwater fishing and is currently in the user testing phase.[1] The capital raised will be allocated to technology research and development iteration as well as market channel establishment.[1]
