Mitchell Hashimoto, the founder of Ghostty and co-founder of HashiCorp, has launched a new company called Superlogical aimed at building a universal work multiplexing platform [1]. The platform is designed to unify local interactive development, automated workflows, and production systems [1].
The founding team includes Jack Pearkes, HashiCorp's first employee and former engineering vice president; Alasdair Monk, who previously led experience design at Poolside and served as design vice president at Vercel; and Hector Simpson, an application designer from Poolside [1].
Superlogical's initial product will be a modern terminal multiplexer serving as the foundation for the broader platform [1]. The offering will support session persistence, cross-device resumption, access via web and native applications on macOS and iOS, and built-in session sharing capabilities [1].
The company has outlined a three-phase development roadmap: first, building an excellent multiplexer; second, making it internally composable; and third, ensuring production-readiness and operational security [1].
