Anthropoid is entered in the Radical Media Maiden Handicap over 1200 metres, while Avon Calling contests the Jockeys Celebration Day 3YO Maiden Plate at 1150 metres.[1] Avon Calling brings recent form into the race, having finished third at Gosford on July 9.[1] The stable's two other runners are Ausbred Hed'n'tail in the Pacific Plan Management Class 1 Handicap (1150m) with Tommy Berry as jockey, and Sneaky Choice in the Lexy Get Well Provincial Benchmark 68 Handicap (1200m) under Zac Lloyd.[1]
Ausbred Hed'n'tail recorded a maiden win at Gosford in February before running fourth at Wyong.[1] Sneaky Choice carries the strongest record among the quartet, boasting three wins from eight starts and having won consecutive races at Kembla Grange in February and March before being spelled.[1]
