中共中央政治局委员、外交部长王毅7月28日在北京出席全球发展倡议5周年高级别会议并致辞[1]。会议由外交部、国家国际发展合作署、联合国发展系统驻华机构联合举办[1]。
王毅在致辞中指出，5年前习近平主席郑重提出了全球发展倡议，为重振全球发展事业提供了中国方案、作出了中国贡献[1]。他强调，中国的发展离不开世界，世界的发展也离不开中国[1]。5年来全球发展倡议理念引领效应持续释放，各领域合作机制不断完善[1]。中方将继续推进倡议与联合国发展议程对接，做全球发展的促进者和贡献者[1]。
联合国副秘书长、秘书长办公厅主任拉特雷等各方代表出席会议[1]，高度评价倡议成果和中国在国际发展合作中的引领作用[1]。
Foreign Minister Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee, attended and delivered remarks at a high-level conference marking the fifth anniversary of the Global Development Initiative in Beijing on July 28.[1]
Wang Yi stated that over the past five years, the Global Development Initiative has continued to release its guiding influence, with cooperation mechanisms across various sectors being progressively refined.[1] He emphasized that China will continue to advance alignment between the initiative and the United Nations development agenda, positioning the country as a promoter and contributor to global development.[1] Wang noted that "China's development cannot be separated from the world, nor can the world's development be separated from China."[1]
The conference, themed "Restarting the Global Development Initiative After Five Years to Build a Better Sustainable Future," was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Agency for International Development Cooperation, and UN development system agencies based in China.[1] UN Deputy Secretary-General Courtenay Rattray attended the meeting.[1] High-level representatives from various parties commended the initiative's achievements and China's leading role in international development cooperation.[1]
