Hammond was prosecuted for driving a Porsche at 68 mph in a 50 mph zone and subsequently operating a Bentley at 82 mph in a 70 mph zone.1 Judge Ann Minton imposed a total fine of £1,771, comprising two separate penalties of £333 and £666, court costs of £240, and a victim surcharge of £532.1 The conviction also resulted in the deduction of seven points from his driving license.1
