The startup positions itself as the "Cursor for decision-making," drawing inspiration from how Cursor's code adoption rate has reached 60%-70% to optimize decision adoption rates.[1] Kando AI's core vision centers on the idea that while the internet and mobile internet era achieved information digitization, the AI era will drive self-evolution of decision-making.[1] The company has launched a beta version and is initially validating its platform in the financial and research sectors.[1]
The team, comprising approximately 10 members, is led by founder and Chief Technology Officer Wu Bingzhe, who holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Peking University and a doctoral degree in computer science.[1] Wu previously served as the first recipient of an Apple Doctoral Fellowship on the mainland and led the Trustworthy AI team at Tencent AI Lab.[1] CEO Mao Shuhan holds an undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University and a master's degree in finance from the University of Hong Kong, and has been recognized as part of Forbes' 2025 30 Under 30 list.[1]
