7月27日，首届2026湾区国际舞蹈周在深圳南山正式启幕12。本届舞蹈周为期七天2，汇聚来自中国内地、香港、澳门及国际的顶尖舞蹈艺术家、行业专家和青年舞者1，打造集精品展演、学术交流、人才培育、文化共创于一体的高规格文化盛会1。
开幕当晚，《巅峰起舞》全明星舞蹈GALA在深圳保利剧院举行，集结国内顶尖青年舞者和国际赛事金奖得主2。随后的活动安排中，7月28日将举办IAY国际舞蹈交流展演及明星大师课2，7月29日安排古法身韵专题工作坊2，7月31日国际即兴舞蹈交流活动将在蛇口文体公园举行2，8月1日至2日《唱支山歌给党听》将在深圳保利剧院上演2。
本届舞蹈周通过舞台展演、学术交流、大师课堂、工作坊和公共空间活动，探索大湾区舞蹈创作与国际交流的新路径2，旨在为普通市民提供接近艺术的入口2。

The opening evening featured the "Peak Dance" all-star dance gala at the Shenzhen Poly Theatre, bringing together leading young Chinese dancers and international competition gold medalists.2 Beyond the main stage, the week encompasses master classes, professional workshops, and public space activities designed to make the arts more accessible to ordinary residents.2 Subsequent programming includes an IAY International Dance Exchange showcase and celebrity master classes on July 28, a classical body movement workshop on July 29, an international improvisation exchange at Shekou Cultural and Sports Park on July 31, and performances of "Sing a Mountain Song for the Party" at the Shenzhen Poly Theatre on August 1–2.2
