Bar Julius and Lottie, two dining establishments located in Sydney's Wunderlich Lane precinct, will close at the end of August after operating for just 18 months.[1] The adjacent restaurant Olympus Dining's team is set to take over both venues later this year.[1]
James Bradey, co-founder of Liquid and Larder, cited underperformance as the reason for the closures, stating that the venues "haven't hit the heights financially [at Bar Julius and Lottie] we'd like."[1] Despite their brief run, both restaurants gained recognition in the dining scene—Bar Julius received design awards while Lottie secured a hat in the Good Food Guide.[1] The venues are part of Wunderlich Lane, a $500 million redevelopment project by TOGA Group that opened at the end of 2024.[1]
