Bar Julius and Lottie, two dining establishments located in Sydney's Wunderlich Lane precinct, will close at the end of August after operating for just 18 months.1 The adjacent restaurant Olympus Dining's team is set to take over both venues later this year.1

James Bradey, co-founder of Liquid and Larder, cited underperformance as the reason for the closures, stating that the venues "haven't hit the heights financially [at Bar Julius and Lottie] we'd like."1 Despite their brief run, both restaurants gained recognition in the dining scene—Bar Julius received design awards while Lottie secured a hat in the Good Food Guide.1 The venues are part of Wunderlich Lane, a $500 million redevelopment project by TOGA Group that opened at the end of 2024.1
