On July 27, representatives from 21 Asia-Pacific economies, totaling over 100 participants, gathered in Shenzhen to inaugurate a series of field activities for the 2026 APEC Ministerial Meeting on Forestry [1]. Shenzhen has developed its ecological infrastructure through the "Mountain-Sea-City Integration Plan," establishing over 1,350 parks, more than 4,000 kilometers of walking trails, and over 1,000 kilometers of greenways [1]. The conference, organized around the theme "Enhancing Forest Resilience in the Asia-Pacific Region and Sharing Ecological Well-being for All," aims to facilitate in-depth discussions on sustainable forest management and related issues [1]. The mangrove seedlings planted during the activities will be relocated to the APEC Forestry Ministers' Grove within the Futian Mangrove National Nature Reserve [1].
