Gold producer Kaiser Reef has completed a low-cost soil sampling program at its Maldon project in Victoria, Australia, uncovering a 4.4-kilometer-long gold trend with peak values reaching 2.7 grams per tonne.[1] The survey covered 2.7 square kilometers and confirmed multiple structurally robust and continuous gold and arsenic anomalies across four distinct trends, establishing new exploration targets for the company.[1]
The soil sampling results revealed varying gold concentrations across the anomaly zones, with the Cumberland, North of England, and Sailors trends each showing 150–250 parts per billion gold, while the Ivy trend registered 100 parts per billion.[1] These anomalies span a defined length of 1.5 kilometers, and according to management director Brad Valiukas, "Maldon represents a district-scale gold opportunity for Kaiser, with many historical mines and operating lines remaining under-explored despite historically producing an enviable 1.75 million ounces at 28 grams per tonne."[1]
Kaiser Reef is advancing exploration activities with a helicopter magnetic survey planned for the first week of August to further support drilling programs.[1] The company maintains a cash position of AUD 37.2 million and has issued production guidance of 32,000 ounces for the 2027 financial year.[1] The Union Hill deposit in the district hosts a known resource of 187,000 ounces, while recent quarterly production totaled 6,000 ounces across Kaiser's operations.[1]
