Vizio Mini LED Quantum TV
Vizio is offering its Mini LED Quantum TVs at a discount through Walmart, providing an option for privacy-conscious buyers to bypass the manufacturer's smart interface. 1 The promotion reduces the price of the 65-inch model by $40 to $358, while the 85-inch version drops by $100 to $698. 1 A 55-inch variant is also available for $248, down from its original $278 price tag. 1
Users can skip sign-up agreements and disable the built-in operating system to use external streaming devices, allowing them to bypass manufacturer warnings to prevent data collection. 1 Despite these savings and privacy features, the televisions have specific hardware limitations. 1 The set features three HDMI 2.0 ports and supports only 4K resolution at 60Hz. 1 While the display achieves calibrated brightness levels up to 936 nits and utilizes quantum dot technology for color accuracy, it relies on an IPS panel that results in average black levels and noticeable motion blur. 1
