The third reading of the draft law on prosecutorial public interest litigation is scheduled for deliberation at the 25th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC). 1 Huang Haihua, spokesperson for the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee, announced this legislative progress during a press conference held on October 30. 1 Prior to this upcoming session, the draft underwent its second review in June at the committee’s 23rd meeting. 1
