During the third quarter of the match, a player wearing number 9 for HUST committed a personal foul against Ding Yike, a player for Wuhan Shengfan. 1 Ding Yike chased the opponent, and subsequently, she was pushed by HUST players wearing numbers 18 and 4. 1 In response, Ding Yike struck the player with number 18 with her right fist and the player with number 9 with her left fist, triggering a conflict involving personnel from both teams. 1
Based on Article 27 of the "Chinese Basketball Association Disciplinary Guidelines and Penalty Regulations," the CBA gave a formal criticism to Wuhan Shengfan Professional Basketball Club Co., Ltd. 1 Additionally, player Ding Yike received a formal criticism and a suspension from participating in eight competitive events under the jurisdiction of the Chinese Basketball Association. 1 The suspended events include four group stage matches in the first phase of the 2027 Chinese Basketball Association Women’s Basketball Club Cup and rounds one through four of the 2026-2027 China Women’s Basketball League season. 1
