Authorities emphasized the need for strengthened monitoring and early warning systems while prioritizing the inspection of secondary disaster risks, including border ice lake outbursts, glacier collapses, avalanches, mudflows, and other secondary or derivative disasters. 1 Special attention was directed toward ensuring the basic living conditions and safe wintering of affected residents in Baqing County (Nagqu Prefecture) and Jilong County (Shigatse Prefecture). 1 To support these objectives, relief materials are being allocated and distributed, and the deployment and installation of temporary housing units is being accelerated to strictly prevent accidents such as fires, electric shocks, and carbon monoxide poisoning. 1
