Ride-sharing platform inDrive has signed a memorandum of understanding with Chinese autonomous driving company Pony.ai and technology firm Nvidia to conduct robotaxi testing in Kazakhstan's capital Astana beginning in the first half of 2027 1. Pony.ai has set an ambitious timeline to operate over 3,500 robotaxis across more than 20 cities globally by the end of 2026, with the company already operating 1,975 vehicles as of late June 1.
