李强表示"近些年面对复杂动荡的国际形势，北京与莫斯科携手并肩、团结向前"1。米舒斯京则称"俄中新时代全面战略协作伙伴关系处于历史最高水准"1。
李强还会见了俄罗斯总统普丁，普丁表示"中国过去、现在和将来都是俄方最亲密、最可靠的伙伴"1。
Chinese Premier Li Qiang arrived in Saint Petersburg on the evening of October 20 and co-chaired the 31st regular meeting between Chinese and Russian premiers with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on the morning of October 21.1 This marked the fourth such co-chaired meeting between the two officials since late 2023.1
The two nations issued a joint communiqué identifying "disruptive external interference" as the primary factor destabilizing the Eurasian continent at present.1 During the talks, China and Russia signed cooperation agreements spanning trade and economics, aerospace, science and technology, and education.1 Li Qiang stated: "Facing a complex and volatile international landscape in recent years, Beijing and Moscow have stood together and moved forward united."1 Mishustin remarked that "the new-era comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between Russia and China has reached its highest historical level."1
Li Qiang also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who declared: "China has been, is, and will always be Russia's closest and most reliable partner."1
