龙华区已形成从上游核心零部件、中游设备本体到下游应用的完整产业链1。该区在半导体装备、工业自动化、3D打印等多个领域处于国内领先地位1。其中，龙华区的3D打印设备产业集群已被成功认定为广东省中小企业特色产业集群1。
为推动产业升级，龙华区制定了"1+22"政策体系，并落地深资本建信龙华AIC基金、深担农银龙华AIC基金两只各20亿元规模的产业基金1。该区还通过加强产学研协同创新等举措，支持高端装备产业向高端化、智能化、绿色化方向升级1。
