A New Mexico judge has thrown out child sexual abuse charges against Emmy Award-winning actor Timothy Busfield, known for his role in the television series "The West Wing."1 District Judge Joseph Montano ruled on Friday to dismiss the four counts filed against Busfield in February 2024, citing prosecutorial misconduct during the grand jury proceedings.1 The judge determined that the prosecution "failed to act fairly and impartially," according to court findings.1
