Blue Origin unveiled an ambitious expansion plan for its launch facilities at Cape Canaveral, Florida on Friday, aimed at significantly scaling up its New Glenn rocket operations.1 The company intends to add two new launch pads for the New Glenn vehicle, supplementing two pads already under construction at the site.1
The infrastructure overhaul extends beyond the launch pads themselves. Blue Origin plans to construct a dedicated manufacturing facility capable of producing 150 large upper stages annually, acquire two additional booster recovery vessels to complement its existing recovery ship Jacklyn, and partner with the U.S. Space Force to build a customer integration facility equipped with four payload bays.1 These measures are designed to support the company's ultimate goal of achieving an annual launch capacity of 150 rockets.1
