Shenzhen climbers delivered an impressive performance at the 10th National Youth Climbing Championship held at Yangshan Climbing Center in Keqiao, Shaoxing, securing a total of four gold and two bronze medals 1. The competition drew 655 athletes from 146 teams representing 23 provinces, autonomous regions, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region 1.
Three athletes from Futian District's climbing team participated in the championship, capturing two gold medals 1. Chen Yunxie demonstrated exceptional skill by claiming gold in both the A12 women's difficulty category and the bouldering event 1. Two additional gold medals were earned by fellow competitors: Qin Junkun won the A10 men's speed climbing title, while Cheng Yuxi secured victory in the U15 women's speed relay category 1. The speed relay event made its debut at the national youth championship this year, offering young competitors an opportunity to adapt to this newly introduced competitive format 1.
