Apple held its "Welcome Home" event on October 13 in New York, launching a comprehensive smart home product lineup centered on new Siri AI capabilities 1. The centerpiece of the event is HomeView, Apple's first smart home hub with an integrated display 1310. Priced at $299, the device features a 7-inch square screen available in silver, starlight, rose pink, and deep space gray 310. HomeView supports video calling, photo display, Siri voice control, and HomeKit Secure Video camera feeds, while also functioning as a Matter controller and Thread border router 10. The hub will ship in November 7.

Alongside HomeView, Apple introduced an updated Apple TV 4K, its first refresh in four years 11. The new fourth-generation model features the A19 chip with 50 percent faster CPU performance and up to 2x faster GPU performance 18. It includes three far-field microphones for hands-free Siri AI control 411. The device supports pairing with up to four HomePod units for surround sound and is priced at $299 411. Five color options are available: pink, green, blue, white, and black 525. However, Siri AI support will arrive through a future software update rather than at launch 59. The device works with Apple TV 4K to enable four-speaker surround sound and can serve as the default speaker for Wi-Fi 6E Macs 516.

Apple Home Collection represents the company's first internally produced smart home accessory line, developed in partnership with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric 22330.
