本次改造工程内容全面，包括沥青路面重铺、交通标线更新、路灯亮化改造、智能环保卫生间建设等多个方面1。路面从原来的红色改为灰黑色沥青，道路宽度也进行了拓宽，并新增了景观标语1。工程自2026年4月进场施工，至9月底完成1，现已恢复通行并重新贯通梧桐山重要骑行环线1。
The Xikeng Greenway in Yuanshan Street, Longgang District, has completed its comprehensive renovation and officially reopened to the public on September 30, ahead of the National Day holiday.1 The 6,124-meter greenway, which forms an important section of the provincial No. 2 greenway corridor, had suffered from years of pavement deterioration and aging facilities that prompted numerous complaints from residents.1 The street office launched a specialized renovation project with a total investment of 4.7316 million yuan to address these issues.1
The renovation work, which commenced in April 2026 following project approval in December 2025, encompassed extensive improvements across approximately 15,000 square meters of surface area.1 Upgrades included asphalt road resurfacing, traffic line repainting, street lighting renovation, and construction of intelligent eco-friendly restrooms.1 The road surface was transformed from red to gray-black asphalt, the pathway width was expanded, and new scenic signage was added.1 With the completion of this project, the greenway has restored connectivity along the important cycling loop incorporating Wutong Mountain.1
