前香港市民支援愛國民主運動聯合會主席李卓人已對其煽動顛覆國家政權的定罪及判刑提出上訴1。李卓人因涉嫌在2020年7月1日至2021年9月8日期間煽動他人組織、策劃、實施或參與以非法手段旨在顛覆國家政權的行為而被法庭定罪,並被判監禁7年1。上訴案件的聆訊目前尚未排期1。
同案其他被定罪人士包括支聯會副主席鄒幸彤,被判囚7年3個月;及何俊仁,被判囚5年2個月1。支聯會本身亦被罰款港幣150萬元1。
Lee Cheuk-yan, former chairman of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Democratic Movements in China, has filed an appeal against his conviction and sentence for inciting subversion of state power.1 Lee was found guilty of inciting others to organize, plan, implement, or participate in unlawful activities aimed at overthrowing state power between July 1, 2020, and September 8, 2021, and was sentenced to seven years in prison.1 The appeal hearing has not yet been scheduled.1
The case also involved other prominent figures from the organization. Vice Chair Zou Xingting received a sentence of seven years and three months, while Ho Chun-yan was sentenced to five years and two months.1 Additionally, the Hong Kong Alliance itself was fined 1.5 million Hong Kong dollars.1
