During the recent National Day holiday period, more than 11,000 high-power charging facilities were newly installed across highway service areas nationwide, equivalent to the total cumulative number previously in place 1. These installations represent a significant expansion of charging infrastructure to support the rapid growth of electric vehicle travel.
The new facilities include ultra-fast charging stations deployed in multiple locations. The Nanning Port charging station features 10 units of 360-kilowatt ultra-chargers, while three additional ultra-charging stations have been placed along the Pinglu Canal corridor 1. In Wuxi, the Meicun service area experienced over 100,000 vehicle passages daily during the holiday period 1. Zhejiang's Taizhou region placed into service approximately 600 charging parking spaces, including super-charging piles, accumulating nearly 100,000 vehicle charging sessions 1.
