重建后的皇岗口岸开通在即，香港特区政府运输署公布了口岸香港一侧的公共交通配置方案1。该方案涵盖多层次的运输服务体系，包括7条专营巴士线路（其中包含1条通宵线路）、6条专线小巴（其中3条通宵运营）以及5条24小时运作的短途跨境巴士线路，同时提供的士服务1。

为优化交通流量，香港一侧将增设由粉岭公路及新田公路直达新深路的公共运输专用车道，并建设公交缓冲区以提升通行效率1。专营巴士线路设计涵盖9个港铁站及4个巴士转车站，以便于乘客集散1。港铁北环线支线工程仍处于推进阶段1。

香港特区政府运输署呼吁市民根据实际需求使用其他陆路及铁路口岸往返深圳与香港，以避免皇岗口岸过度拥挤1。

Hong Kong's Transport Department has unveiled comprehensive public transportation arrangements for the Hong Kong side of the reconstructed Huanggang Port as the facility approaches its opening.1 The new transport network will comprise seven franchised bus routes, including one overnight service, along with six specialized minibus routes, three of which will operate around the clock.1 Additionally, five cross-border bus routes will provide 24-hour service to facilitate movement between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.1

The bus network has been strategically designed to maximize connectivity, with franchised bus routes passing through nine MTR stations and four bus interchange hubs.1 To enhance operational efficiency, the Hong Kong Transport Department will establish dedicated public transport lanes accessible directly from Fanling Road and Tin Tian Road to Xinsheng Road, as well as a public transport buffer zone at the port entrance.1 Taxi services will also be available to support the broader transport ecosystem.1

However, the MTR North Island Line extension project remains under development and has not yet been completed.1 In preparation for the port's opening, the Hong Kong government has called on residents to utilize alternative land and rail border crossings according to their needs to help prevent overcrowding at the Huanggang facility.1
