On June 24, the Council completed the integration of non-financial corporation credit asset portfolios into the Eurosystem's general collateral framework, with technical implementation scheduled to commence no earlier than November 2027.1 In a separate enforcement action on June 29, the ECB imposed a fine of €3,255,000 on Banque Internationale à Luxembourg for deliberately failing to apply an approved internal model to calculate expected losses on retail and corporate exposures.1
The Council took additional measures to enhance monetary policy operations and market participation.
