Three typhoons are simultaneously active over the northwest Pacific, presenting a rare "triple typhoon dance" phenomenon.1 These include Typhoon Cai Yun (No. 27), Typhoon Nolo (No. 28), and Typhoon Xiao Xiong (No. 29).1 Notably, Typhoon Nolo represents an "imported" system, having migrated from the central and north Pacific into the northwest Pacific.1 According to meteorological forecasts, none of these three typhoons will impact Chinese maritime areas, ensuring that holiday return travel will proceed without typhoon disruption.1
Over the coming days, precipitation across most of China is expected to subside and weather conditions will improve from October 5 to 7.1 Subsequently, from October 8 to 13, no strong cold air masses are predicted to affect the country, with the westerly circulation pattern remaining relatively flat.1 Daytime temperatures in the North China Plain are forecast to exceed 25°C, with some regions potentially reaching around 30°C.1 However, overnight temperatures will decline sharply in northeastern China, eastern Huanghuai, and the middle and lower Yangtze River regions, with widespread record low temperatures expected by tomorrow morning.1 In southern coastal cities, temperatures will reach historic lows, with minimum readings in Fuzhou, Guangzhou, and Nanning predicted to dip below 20°C for the first time.1
