Supply conditions for essential consumer goods remained robust throughout the holiday period, with 200 large-scale agricultural and food product wholesale markets maintaining adequate inventory levels.1 Grain and oil prices, as well as prices for pork, beef, and lamb, remained essentially flat compared to pre-holiday levels.1 Vegetable and chicken prices both decreased 0.5 percent from pre-holiday rates, while egg prices declined 1.1 percent.1
