Ho Choi-kwan, a principal executive at MGM China and Wynn Resorts, obtained a permanent injunction from the High Court of Hong Kong against defendant Chan Pang-yu on allegations of harassment and threats.1 Chan initiated a series of harmful acts beginning in March 2025, including sending fraudulent emails, submitting forged invoices demanding HKD 20 million, issuing demand letters, and making false accusations.1
On September 30, 2026, Acting Judge Chow Chiu-man of the Court of First Instance granted the permanent injunction against Chan.1 The court order prohibits Chan from continuing to harass Ho, entering relevant office premises, maintaining a distance of 30 meters from office buildings, contacting Ho by phone or email, and publishing false defamatory materials.1 The court determined that all elements of the harassment and threat torts had been established in the case.1
