朱忠明正式当选上海市市长

朱忠明在上海市第16届人民代表大会第5次会议上完成补选程序，正式当选上海市市长1。现年54岁的朱忠明于8月接替年满66岁的龚正担任代市长，经过9月4日上海市第16届人大常委会第33次会议接受龚正辞职后，在此次人大会议中获得正式任命1。

朱忠明1972年出生，浙江海宁人，毕业于武汉大学经济学院财政与审计系审计学专业1。其职业生涯历跨多个省份和中央部门，曾先后担任浙江省财政厅党组书记、厅长，湖南省副省长，财政部副部长等职务1。2024年7月，朱忠明任中共上海市委副书记1。

Zhu Zhongming has been formally elected Shanghai mayor through the legal election process at the Fifth Session of the Sixteenth Shanghai Municipal People's Congress 1. The 54-year-old, born in 1972 and from Haining, Zhejiang Province, assumed the position of acting mayor in August following the resignation of Gong Zheng, who had reached the mandatory retirement age of 66 1. The Shanghai Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee accepted Gong's resignation on September 4 before proceeding with today's mayoral election 1.

Zhu brings extensive experience in fiscal governance to the role 1. A graduate of Wuhan University's School of Economics with a degree in Audit, he has previously served as Party Secretary and Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, and Vice Minister of Finance 1. In July 2024, he was appointed Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee 1.
