During the APEC China Year, Shenzhen has leveraged its position to strengthen trade ties with Asia-Pacific economies, capitalizing on streamlined customs procedures and expanded air and port infrastructure. Electromechanical products dominate Shenzhen's trade profile, comprising 77.3% of exports and 78.2% of imports during the eight-month period.1 APEC member economies have become essential markets for local enterprises; for instance, Creality Technology reported that APEC economies account for approximately 70% of its regional revenue.1 Shenzhen Customs has accelerated trade flows through advanced clearance protocols, including advance declarations, scheduled inspections, and conditional release procedures, alongside deployment of inspection robots that have improved clearance efficiency by approximately 50%.1
