New York prosecutors have reopened a criminal investigation into a sexual assault case involving seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity at Cornell University, following the filing of a civil lawsuit.2 The alleged assault occurred on October 19, 2024, and was reported to campus police on November 8, 2024.2 The civil complaint was filed on September 16, 2024.2 According to the accusation, the victim was drugged with alcohol and ketamine before being assaulted by the fraternity members.2
