第48届世界技能大赛于9月27日在上海闭幕2。深圳代表队在此次大赛中表现突出，共有3名选手摘得金牌。其中，深圳职业技术大学教师李文涛在餐厅服务项目获得金牌，这是中国在该项目的首枚金牌，也是亚洲选手在该赛项上的首次夺金1。深圳技师学院的覃秀桃和邱树彬分别在工业设计技术和珠宝加工项目赢得金牌2，其中覃秀桃成为深圳首位女性金牌得主1。
来自深圳的4名参赛选手共获3枚金牌和1个优胜奖2，杜美婷在平面设计技术项目获得优胜奖2。据悉，从2015年起，深圳选手已连续6届登上世界技能大赛的舞台，累计斩获8金3银2铜和4优胜2。中国代表团在本届大赛中共获41枚金牌，位居世界第一2。
The 48th World Skills Competition concluded on September 27 in Shanghai, with three Shenzhen competitors capturing gold medals in their respective categories 2. Li Wentao, an instructor at Shenzhen Polytechnic University, won gold in restaurant service, marking China's first-ever gold medal in this event and Asia's first gold in the competition 1. This achievement represents a historic breakthrough for Chinese competitors in the discipline.
Two additional Shenzhen competitors from Shenzhen Technician College also secured gold medals: Qin Xiutao won in industrial design technology and became Shenzhen's first female gold medalist 1, while Qiu Shubin claimed victory in jewelry making 1. A fourth Shenzhen representative, Du Meiting, earned an excellence award in graphic design technology 2. The Chinese delegation won 41 gold medals total to top the global medal standings 2.
