Google is rolling out an experimental feature called "Call for Me" that enables its Gemini AI assistant to place phone calls to businesses on users' behalf.123 The functionality is initially available to paid Gemini subscribers with Pixel 11 devices in the United States and requires the beta version of Google's Phone app for Android.1 Through this feature, Gemini can handle complex tasks such as checking product inventory, making restaurant reservations, rescheduling appointments, and placing items on hold.12
