The series will feature the newly launched Kirin 9050 Pro processor, marking the industry's first logical-folding τ chip 1. All models adopt a star-ring design and employ a triple-camera setup combined with a single periscope telephoto lens 1. The Mate 90 Pro Max has been positioned as the optimal performance device for the first-generation τ chip 1. Huawei has not officially confirmed whether the Mate 90 series will debut at its Zhijie RX and HarmonyOS Intelligence new product launch conference scheduled for September 28 at 2:30 PM 1.
