The airline has established a mature flight crew and comprehensive ground support infrastructure, with operational destinations now extending to 17 cities across the country.1 The network spans from Shenyang in the north to Sanya in the south, Shanghai in the east, and Chengdu in the west.1 Reflecting the expansion of its C919 operations, China Southern has established dual operating bases in Guangzhou and Changsha.1
On the maintenance and training front, the airline's engineering team completed its first C-check deep inspection of the C919, a process that took 20 days to accomplish.1 The company has trained over 200 maintenance release personnel to support the growing fleet.1
